Impassable + Courage of the Colossus

Impassable provides Aftershock which grants defensive stats after immobilizing enemies, and Glacial Augment which slows on attacks. Courage of the Colossus adds a substantial shield whenever you immobilize or ground enemies, directly triggered by both keystones' effects. This combination transforms you into an unkillable frontline presence in ARAM's constant teamfights, gaining massive resistances, shields, and crowd control on every engagement.

Impassable + Guilty Pleasure

Impassable grants Aftershock and Glacial Augment, both of which trigger immobilize or slow effects on enemies. Guilty Pleasure heals you for a percentage of your maximum health every time you immobilize or ground an enemy champion. This creates a self-sustaining tank build where every Glacial Augment slow or Aftershock activation provides significant healing, keeping you healthy through extended ARAM skirmishes.

Impassable + Adamant

Impassable provides Aftershock and Glacial Augment, both capable of triggering immobilize effects. Adamant grants stacking bonus armor and magic resistance each time you immobilize or ground an enemy, stacking up to 100 bonus resistances. Combined with Aftershock's defensive stats, you become incredibly tanky in prolonged fights, able to soak massive damage while perma-slowing enemies with Glacial Augment.

Avoid this pairing because Back to Basics permanently seals your ultimate ability, which completely negates the value of Aftershock. Aftershock requires immobilizing an enemy champion to trigger, but its defensive stats and explosion are most valuable when diving with ultimate abilities. Losing your ultimate removes a primary engage tool that would synergize with Glacial Augment's crowd control.
