The 70 ability haste ensures frequent spell rotations, maximizing critical strike opportunities. This turns any mage into a high-damage nuker who spams empowered, critting basic abilities.

Back to Basics grants 35% increased ability damage and 70 ability haste. Magic Missile fires tracking Firecrackers on ability hits, dealing percent health true damage. The ability haste from Back to Basics enables constant spell casting, which triggers Magic Missile frequently. The damage amp applies to the triggering ability, while Magic Missile adds reliable percent health damage.

Back to Basics + Infinite Recursion
