This is a hard anti-synergy. Deft grants 60% bonus attack speed, but Slow and Steady completely nullifies all attack speed bonuses, setting your attack rate to a static value. The 60% attack speed is converted to only 60 bonus attack damage, which is extremely poor value compared to other augments that directly provide AD or adaptive force.

Avoid Slow and Steady + Lightning Strikes

Lightning Strikes increases bonus attack speed from all sources by 20% and provides on-hit damage at 1.75 attack speed. Since Slow and Steady prevents benefiting from any attack speed bonuses, the percentage increase is worthless and the 1.75 attack speed threshold for the on-hit damage is impossible to reach.

Avoid Slow and Steady + Critical Rhythm

Critical Rhythm grants 6% bonus attack speed per critical strike, stacking up to 60%. Slow and Steady nullifies all attack speed bonuses, rendering the stacking mechanic completely useless. You gain only the 25% critical strike chance from this augment, making it extremely inefficient compared to other crit options.

Avoid Slow and Steady + Tap Dancer

Tap Dancer grants bonus attack speed equal to 10% of total movement speed. Since Slow and Steady prevents any attack speed bonuses from functioning, this conversion mechanic is entirely wasted. You lose a significant portion of the augment's value, leaving only the stacking movement speed on basic attacks.

Avoid Slow and Steady + Get Excited

Get Excited grants 15% total attack speed on champion takedowns for 4 seconds. Slow and Steady nullifies all attack speed bonuses, so this portion of the augment provides zero benefit. You only receive the 100% bonus movement speed, making this a very low-value pairing for a Gold-tier augment.
