LeBlanc the Deceiver
She's a top-tier burst mage when you land full combos, but she falls off if games drag past two items. Mayhem's accelerated gold and experience let her hit power spikes faster than on Summoner's Rift. You must snowball early kills or enemy tanks will become unkillable.
Prioritize augments that add burst damage, cooldown reduction, or mobility. Damage-focused picks let you delete squishies at the start of fights. Mobility options help you dodge poke and reposition after going in.
Use W to dash in, land Q and E, then W back to safety. This pattern lets you chunk enemies without taking return damage. Avoid using W to poke if their engage tools are off cooldown.
Open with W, then Q-R-Q to double the mark damage. Follow with E to chain them while the burst lands. This kills most squishies outright if you're even or ahead.
Mimic Q for single-target burst against priority targets. Mimic W for waveclear or AoE damage in clustered teamfights. Mimic E when you need a longer root chain to lock down mobile threats.
You struggle here. Focus their backline instead of wasting cooldowns on high-health targets. If you must fight tanks, save E for peel and look for flanks after their cooldowns are spent.
Luden's Companion into Stormsurge gives the burst and speed you need. Third item should be Void Staff if enemies build magic resist. Rabadon's Deathcap is your late-game powerspike for one-shot potential.
Snowball sets up guaranteed engages when W is down or you need the extra range. Tag a squishy, wait for the marker, then fly in with your full combo ready. Be ready to W out immediately after unloading your damage.
Switch from assassin to playmaker. Use E to set up kills for teammates instead of trying to solo carry. Build more utility items like Horizon Focus to stay useful with less gold.
Dodge sideways with W rather than forward. Let your team's frontline absorb the first wave of abilities. Only commit to fights after key enemy cooldowns are blown.
Pink wards and control wards reveal your clone, so don't rely on passive jukes in obvious spots. Hard CC like point-and-click stuns shuts you down before you can W out. Play around these cooldowns before engaging.
Send the clone running toward teammates to bait enemies into bad chases. Use it to facecheck bushes instead of walking in yourself. The clone won't fool good players for long, so make the distraction count in the first second.
Zhonya's Hourglass is worth it against heavy dive or AD assassins. Use the active after your combo lands to stall for W cooldown. Don't build tank items—your job is to kill before getting killed.
Wait for the engage to happen, then flank from an angle they don't expect. Delete a carry, W out, and reset for a second rotation. Going in first usually gets you collapsed on before you deal damage.
