Erosion + Thread the Needle

Erosion provides percentage-based resistance reduction that stacks multiplicatively with Thread the Needle's flat 18% penetration. Once Erosion reaches full stacks, targets effectively have 48% reduced resistances combined. This dual-shred approach melts tanks and squishies alike, ensuring every point of damage dealt bypasses mitigation. Ideal for sustained damage dealers who maintain pressure.

Erosion + Infernal Conduit

Infernal Conduit applies burn on every ability hit, and each burn tick counts as a separate damage instance for stacking Erosion. Thread the Needle provides 18% armor and magic penetration, which applies before Erosion's resistance reduction. This creates diminishing returns since penetration and percentage resistance reduction stack multiplicatively, not additively. The flat penetration value is wasted against targets already stripped of resistances, making this pairing significantly less effective than taking either augment separately.

Avoid Erosion + Glass Cannon

Glass Cannon caps your health at 70% maximum, severely limiting survivability. Erosion requires sustained damage output to stack its resistance reduction effect, but Glass Cannon's fragility prevents you from staying in combat long enough to reach maximum stacks. The 4-second duration on Erosion stacks means you cannot afford to disengage, yet Glass Cannon forces defensive play.

Avoid Erosion + Executioner

Executioner's damage bonus only activates against enemies below 30% health, while Erosion provides maximum value when applied early and maintained throughout fights.
