Big Brain + Goliath

Goliath provides 35% bonus health and 15% adaptive force, making the champion significantly tankier while boosting AP. The increased survivability complements Big Brain's shield, allowing the shield to absorb more damage before breaking in extended teamfights.

Big Brain + Witchful Thinking

Witchful Thinking grants 20-80 AP based on level, directly increasing Big Brain's shield strength since it scales with 300% AP. This straightforward AP boost provides immediate defensive value that grows throughout the match.

Big Brain provides a massive shield scaling with 300% AP, but EscAPADe converts all AP into bonus attack damage. This removes the primary scaling stat for Big Brain, causing the shield to absorb almost no damage. Avoid this pairing because it completely nullifies the defensive value of Big Brain.

Avoid Big Brain + Glass Cannon

Glass Cannon caps your health at 70% maximum and cannot be exceeded by any means. Big Brain's shield is wasted because the health cap defeats the purpose of extra durability. The shield cannot save you from the health threshold restriction, making this a conflicting defensive pairing.

Avoid Big Brain + Vampirism

Vampirism sets your health regeneration to 0 and prevents ally healing. Big Brain's shield is replenished only upon respawn, not through combat. These two augments offer no interaction or synergy, and you lose all natural sustain for a shield that does not regenerate during fights.
