This is a hard anti-synergy. Back to Basics permanently seals your ultimate ability, which completely disables Fey Magic's trigger condition. Fey Magic requires damaging enemies with your ultimate to polymorph them, so taking Back to Basics renders Fey Magic entirely useless with zero benefit.

Avoid Fey Magic + Ultimate Revolution

Avoid this pairing because Ultimate Revolution's cooldown reset has a 75-second cooldown that only triggers once per cast. Fey Magic already has a 15-second per-target cooldown on its polymorph effect, making the reset low-value. You gain almost nothing from resetting an ultimate that cannot re-apply its bonus effect to the same targets.

Avoid Fey Magic + Ultimate Awakening

This pairing offers poor synergy value. Ultimate Awakening resets basic abilities and grants haste for 15 seconds with a 20-second cooldown, but Fey Magic's polymorph has a 15-second cooldown per target. You cannot re-apply the polymorph during the empowered window even if you cast your ultimate again, wasting the reset potential.

This is a low-value pairing because both augments trigger on the same event but provide diminishing returns. Fey Magic already disarms and slows polymorphed targets, heavily reducing their threat.
