Early Game: Levels 1–6

Play the first few waves like a fragile artillery platform. You do not have the stacks or the mana pool to force extended fights, so your job is to last-hit minions with Super Scorcher while chipping the enemy frontline. Position near your tower or just behind your melee allies. If the enemy team has long-range poke or hard engage, give up a little ground rather than eating free damage. Your early death timer is short, but giving them free gold and momentum is still bad.

Use Snowball primarily as a dodge tool or a setup for a quick trade. Do not use it to engage deep unless your team is already collapsing on a target. A good pattern is: Snowball to a marked target, auto-attack, then immediately sidestep or fall back. If you miss the Snowball, do not force the follow-up; just reset your position. Save your dash, Flap, Flap, Flap, for escaping ganks or repositioning when the enemy commits cooldowns.

Focus on stacking your passive by last-hitting. In Mayhem, the wave moves fast, so look for opportunities to push the wave under their tower and harass them while they farm. If you have an early augment that boosts damage or ability haste, use it to accelerate your poke rhythm. If you are behind, stall under your tower and focus on experience. Do not chase kills into their side of the map; you are too vulnerable without your ultimate.

Mid Game: Levels 7–11

Once you hit level 6 and unlock Momma's Call, your threat range changes. You can now contribute to fights from a safer distance, calling in the dragon to bomb the enemy backline while you stay near your support. Your position should still be behind your frontline, but you can afford to step up slightly to land Super Scorcher on champions who overextend. Look for angles where your ultimate can hit multiple enemies, especially when they group near their tower or during a team fight.

Your Snowball usage shifts here. Use it to close the gap on low-health targets or to dodge key crowd control abilities. If you see an enemy carry out of position, Snowball to them, unload your combo, and then dash out with Flap, Flap, Flap. Be careful not to dive into their entire team; you are still squishy. If you have an augment that enhances your ultimate or gives you bonus movement speed, use it to kite and reposition during fights.

Decide whether to push or stall based on your team's composition and the enemy's engage. If they have strong dive, stall near your tower and let them come to you. If your team has good poke or disengage, push the wave and force them to fight under their tower. When ahead, group with your team and look for picks; do not split push. When behind, clear waves quickly and avoid fighting until you have your ultimate or a key augment. Your next move is to reach level 11 as fast as possible, where your second cast of the ultimate becomes a major team fight tool.

Late Game: Levels 12+

At this stage, you are a team fight anchor. Your damage scales hard, and your ultimate can turn a messy engagement into a rout. Position yourself in the middle or back of your formation, close enough to land abilities but far enough to react to divers. Use Super Scorcher to poke before fights start, aiming for the enemy frontline or anyone caught in the open. When the fight breaks out, save your ultimate for moments when the enemy clusters or when a high-priority target is low.

Snowball becomes a high-stakes tool. Use it to dodge game-changing abilities or to finish a fleeing enemy. Do not throw it out randomly; a missed Snowball late in the game can leave you vulnerable to a counter-engage. Your dash should be reserved for repositioning after the enemy uses their main cooldowns. If you have an augment that grants shields, healing, or invulnerability, trigger it when you get focused to buy time for your team to peel.

Push with your team when you have numbers or when the enemy is respawning. Do not get caught alone; your death timer is long, and losing you can cost the game. If you are ahead, force fights around objectives or their inhibitor towers. Use your ultimate to zone enemies off the point or to burst down their frontline. If you are behind, look for a pick or wait for them to overextend. Your next move is to close out the game by grouping, landing your combo on key targets, and letting your team clean up.

Key Reminders

  • Always prioritize last-hitting for stacks in the early game.
  • Use Snowball to dodge or set up short trades, not to dive deep.
  • Save your dash for escaping or repositioning, not for chasing.
  • Group with your team once you have your ultimate; do not split push.
  • In late game, your positioning and ultimate timing decide the fight.
