Early Game (Levels 1–6)

Start near your tower and treat the first wave like a defensive test. You are fragile and your damage is low until you put points into Flash Frost. Use your passive egg as a mental shield, not a license to int. If they dive you level 1 or 2, let them hit the egg while your team collapses. You often win the trade simply by respawning while their cooldowns are down.

Position at max range and look for Flash Frost stuns on overextended melee champions. Do not spam it on cooldown; the mana cost is heavy and the projectile is slow. Instead, wait for them to go for a minion or dodge a Snowball, then fire. Follow a successful stun with Frostbite for the double-damage proc. This is your only real burst window.

Snowball is mostly an escape tool or a setup for a guaranteed Q. If you land a Snowball on a squishy target who has used their dash, you can fly in, drop Q point-blank for an easy stun, E, and then fly back out or flash back. Do not fly into five people. Use the dash to reposition if you get dove.

Focus on stalling the wave. Clear ranged minions with Q if they crash into your tower, but prioritize keeping yourself healthy. If you get an early augment that boosts damage or sustain, you can start poking more aggressively. If you are behind, hug the tower and use Q to last hit under turret. Your next move is reaching level 6 without dying, which unlocks your real game plan.

Mid Game (Levels 7–11)

Once you have Glacial Storm, your role shifts from survivor to zone controller. Position yourself in the middle of your team or just behind your frontline. Drop R on the enemy front line or directly on the wave if you need to shove. The storm applies the chill effect instantly, which makes landing your Q much easier because enemies are slowed.

Your trading rhythm becomes: R on approach, Q for the stun while they are slowed, E for the empowered damage. If you have mana sustain augments or items, keep R up longer to zone enemies off their own minions. If you are low on mana, turn R off immediately after applying chill for E.

Use Snowball to start fights or create chaos. Mark a target in their backline, wait for them to use a major cooldown, then fly over their frontline. Drop R and W immediately to cut off their retreat. This creates a "choose your poison" scenario: they either fight you in your storm or run into your wall and team. If the engage looks bad, do not confirm the flight; just use the mark to force movement.

Push the wave aggressively if you have the mana pool for it. Force the enemy team to fight in your R. If you are ahead, siege their tower by placing R at their feet, forcing them to step back. If you are behind, use W to block the bridge or choke point and R to slow the advance. Your next move is looking for a pick with Snowball into Q-R-E burst on a key target.

Late Game (Levels 12+)

Team fights are your playground, but one mistake ends your run. Positioning is everything. Stay behind your allies and avoid face-checking brushes. When the fight starts, drop R on the highest-value cluster of enemies. Use Crystallize to split their team or block melee champions from reaching you. A well-placed wall can isolate a carry and turn a 5v5 into a 5v4.

Your poke is relentless if you built mana and ability haste. Keep R on the frontline to wear them down. Look for Q stuns on anyone who tries to flank or dive. Save E strictly for targets affected by chill; using it without the double-damage proc is a massive loss. If you have damage-boosting augments, your Q-R-E combo can delete squishies.

Snowball becomes a high-stakes execution tool or a desperate reposition. If an enemy is low and running, Snowball to close the gap and finish them. If you get dived by an assassin, Snowball a distant enemy minion or champion to escape over a wall. Do not use it to engage blindly into their team unless you see multiple key cooldowns down.

Decide between pushing for the inhibitor or stalling for objectives based on your team's state. If ahead, use W to block the enemy exit from their base while your team hits the turret. If behind, use W and R to delay their push at chokes. If you die, trust your passive; if your team protects the egg, you can respawn and continue the defense. Your next move is securing the final push or defending the core until a winning fight presents itself.
