Early Game: Levels 1–6
Start near your front line and look for a forward position, but do not overcommit past your first brush. You need to stack your passive style meter quickly, so auto-attack minions to build the first few stacks before looking for a trade. In Mayhem, the faster cooldowns and increased resource generation mean you should be spamming abilities on cooldown to keep your style rank climbing.
Your primary goal is to reach Style Rank E or S to threaten a quick ultimate. Use Q, Flair constantly to poke the enemy backline while last-hitting minions. If you hit a champion, follow up with W, Blade Whirl to block their return fire and finish your combo. This creates a safe trading window where you deal damage and take little in return.
Snowball usage is your main engage tool. Do not use it to poke. Save Snowball for the moment you hit a clean Q on a squishy target or when an enemy oversteps for a cannon minion. Mark them, wait for a clear path, and dash in. Immediately use your W to destroy incoming projectiles while you auto-attack. If your style meter is high, pop your ultimate early for a kill. If the trade goes bad, use your E dash on a minion to escape back to your tower.
Push the wave hard. You want to crash minions into the enemy tower so you can reset or look for a dive. If you get an early augment that boosts damage or healing, play more aggressively and force fights. If you fall behind, stay inside your minion wave and focus entirely on farming style points on minions. Do not force bad fights without Snowball.
Mid Game: Levels 7–11
Move to the center of the lane and control the health relic brushes. At this stage, your ultimate Daredevil Impulse should be available frequently due to Mayhem’s reduced cooldowns. You want to play around your Style Rank S. Always keep your meter at least at B or higher before you even think about engaging.
Your trading rhythm shifts to burst patterns. Poke with Q until the enemy is around half health. When you see an opening, Snowball in, E onto a target to reset your dash, and instantly ult. This burst kills most squishies before they can react. Use your W to block key crowd control or burst abilities during the dive. If the enemy team has heavy crowd control, wait for them to burn their major cooldowns on your frontline before you go in.
Augments that grant lifesteal, omnivamp, or ability haste are your best friends. If you picked up a defensive augment, you can play closer to the enemy team and tank some poke. If you have pure damage augments, play like an assassin. Wait for a stray catch, then explode them.
Push to take the enemy inhibitor tower. Force fights around their tower, but do not dive deep without your team. If you are ahead, group with your allies and chain your Snowball engage with their crowd control. If you are behind, stall the wave at your tower. Use Q to clear minions quickly and look for a pick on an enemy who gets too cocky near your tower. Your next move is to secure the health relic and look for a numbers advantage.
Late Game: Levels 12+
Position yourself behind your frontline or inside a side brush. Late game Mayhem is chaotic, and one bad step means death. You act as a cleanup crew. Do not engage first unless you catch a squishy target completely alone with Snowball. Let your team start the fight. Once the enemy burns their major crowd control, look for a flank or a direct dive.
Your trading pattern becomes all-in. You no longer poke for sustain. You build style on the nearest target—minion or champion—and then dive the backline. Use E to dash through the fight, dodging skill shots and repositioning. Your ultimate turns you into an area-of-effect machine gun. Use it when you are in the middle of their team, not at the start of the fight from long range.
Snowball is your gap-closer for the backline. Mark a low-health target or a key mage, dash in, and ult. If you get burst down, you likely mispositioned or engaged too early. If you are ahead and have a lead, force the enemy team to fight under their nexus turrets. Dive only if you have numbers or if your team follows up instantly.
If you are behind, play for resets. Wait for the enemy to dive your tower, then use your full combo on the first person to step in range. Your W can block a massive amount of tower dive damage. Kill the diver, reset, and try to even the gold. Your next move is to end the game on a single successful team fight, so do not die for nothing.
