Targets LeBlanc Punishes

LeBlanc thrives in Mayhem because the mode's reduced cooldowns and increased damage amplify her already oppressive burst windows. She deletes immobile backliners before they can respond, and she exploits any champion that relies on telegraphed wind-ups or extended trade patterns.

  • Veigar – He cannot cage what he cannot target. LeBlanc's W dash ignores the stun ring if she reacts to the animation, and her burst kills him before his R execution threshold becomes relevant. In Mayhem, his passive stacks faster but his survival window does not improve. If he burns Event Horizon for waveclear, he has no answer to a full engage for several seconds. He must hold Flash or Zhonya's specifically for her, which limits his ability to survive other threats.
  • Kog'Maw – No mobility means he dies on contact. LeBlanc can W onto him, unload a full rotation, and return to safety before his passive death-trigger activates. Even if he builds tanky, Mayhem's damage scaling and her mimic burst cut through resistances. His only real defense is a teammate peeling perfectly, and even that fails if she baits cooldowns with her clone. He cannot sidestep her chain reliably at max range.
  • Katarina – This matchup favors LeBlanc because she holds all the interrupt tools. Katarina needs to channel her ultimate, and LeBlanc's E chain cancels it instantly while also rooting her in place for a follow-up kill. If Katarina Shunpos in, LeBlanc can W away and re-engage when the daggers land. The kill pressure is entirely on LeBlanc's terms. Katarina cannot all-in without eating a chain, and in Mayhem, that chain is available again very quickly.
  • Miss Fortune – Her ultimate is a death sentence for her own team if LeBlanc flanks. A well-timed W into the backline disrupts her channel and forces her to reposition or die. In a straight duel, LeBlanc's burst outpaces Miss Fortune's sustained damage. The only risk is eating a full Make It Rain slow before engaging, but that ability telegraphs her intent. If Miss Fortune uses Bullet Time without proper zone control, LeBlanc punishes the stationary channel immediately.
  • Malzahar – His suppression is dangerous, but LeBlanc can play around it. She must bait out his R before committing, using W poke and clone mind games. Once his suppression is down, he has zero escape tools. Her burst shreds his passive shield and kills him before he can reapply it. In Mayhem, the reduced cooldowns mean she can test his patience repeatedly until he makes a mistake. If she gets caught by his R, she likely dies, but she controls when that interaction happens.

Threats That Punish LeBlanc

LeBlanc's weakness in Mayhem is the same as her weakness everywhere: she is fragile, and her escape is predictable. Champions with point-and-click crowd control, persistent damage zones, or instant burst that does not require aim can shut her down before she gets value.

  • Malzahar – He appears on both lists because his R is a hard counter to her playstyle. If she missteps or gets clipped by his silence, his suppression locks her in place for teammates to delete her. Unlike skillshot-based threats, his ultimate cannot be dodged. In Mayhem, his cooldowns are short enough that he can hold R specifically for her engage. She must build QSS or wait for him to use it on someone else. Any engage into a Malzahar with R available is a gamble.
  • Fiddlesticks – His fear is instant and point-click, which ruins her combo execution. If she Ws in, he can Terrify her before she lands E, forcing her to retreat or die. His drain out-sustains her poke, and his crow bounce damage punishes her if she tries to trade near minions. The real danger is his ultimate: if he flanks while she is mid-combo, she has no escape tool ready. She must track his position before engaging, or she gets feared and burst down.
  • Brand – His passive burn stacks faster in Mayhem, and LeBlanc's short engage range puts her directly in his stun zone. If she Ws onto him and eats a Q while ablaze, she dies before the stun ends. His damage is high enough that even a successful trade leaves her low, vulnerable to his passive ticking or a teammate's follow-up. She must dodge his W and E entirely, which is difficult when she commits to melee range for her combo.
  • Poppy – Her W passive blocks dashes, which directly counters LeBlanc's entire kit. If Poppy activates Steadfast Presence, LeBlanc cannot W in or out without getting grounded and taking damage. This turns her engage into a death sentence. Poppy's E stun also works well against LeBlanc's squishy frame. In Mayhem, Poppy's cooldowns are short enough that she can hold W for every engage attempt. LeBlanc must wait for the ability to expire, but Poppy controls that timing.
  • Lissandra – Her R is a self-peel tool that LeBlanc cannot play around. If LeBlanc commits, Lissandra can ult herself, becoming untargetable while LeBlanc wastes her cooldowns. Alternatively, Lissandra can ult LeBlanc directly, rooting her in place for the team to kill. Her root also stops LeBlanc's mobility. In Mayhem, Lissandra's burst is high enough that a full combo kills LeBlanc during the suppression. This matchup forces LeBlanc to play passively or rely on teammates to bait out the R.

LeBlanc's success in Mayhem depends on recognizing which enemies have their key cooldowns available. She punishes immobile squishies and telegraphed champions by deleting them before they react. She loses to point-and-click crowd control, anti-dash mechanics, and champions who can turn her engage against her. The difference between a dominant game and a useless one is often just patience: waiting for the Malzahar R, the Poppy W, or the Brand stun to burn before committing.
