Executioner resets all basic ability cooldowns on takedown, directly enabling more frequent takedowns to stack Shrink Engine faster. The 10% execute damage helps secure kills while the reset mechanic creates chain-kill potential. Each reset means more abilities cast, more kill opportunities, and faster stacking of both the ability haste and movement speed from Shrink Engine.

Shrink Engine + Giant Slayer
