Typhoon + Heavy Hitter + Goliath: Heavy Hitter causes basic attacks to deal bonus physical damage equal to 3.5% of your maximum health. Goliath grants 35% bonus health and 15% adaptive force, significantly increasing the Heavy Hitter damage. Typhoon's Firecrackers apply on-hit effects, allowing them to trigger Heavy Hitter's bonus damage on nearby enemies.

Avoid Typhoon + Slow and Steady: Avoid this pairing because Slow and Steady sets your base attack speed to a static value and completely disables all attack speed bonuses. Typhoon scales directly with attack speed since more attacks mean more Firecrackers launched, making the attack speed lockdown severely limit Typhoon's damage potential. Avoid Typhoon + Purist - Caster: Avoid this pairing because Purist - Caster converts all bonus attack speed into ability haste, removing the attack speed that would make Typhoon effective. Typhoon benefits from rapid attacks to launch more Firecrackers, so converting away attack speed undermines the augment's core value. Avoid Typhoon + Draw Your Sword: Avoid this pairing because Draw Your Sword forces you to become melee with 200 attack range. Typhoon launches Firecrackers at a nearby enemy on basic attacks, but being melee significantly reduces your ability to safely proc this effect repeatedly in ARAM's teamfight environment.
