Speed Demon: Continuously gains movement speed, with faster movement providing more attack speed and ability haste, the ultimate Rune for mobile champions.

Speed Demon: Core effect: Gain 0.5% bonus movement speed per second, up to 30% bonus movement speed. Additional effect: For every 10% bonus movement speed, gain 10% attack speed and 5 ability haste. Real-time update: Attack speed and ability haste recalculate immediately when movement speed changes. Movement speed bonus is permanent: Continuously increasing as long as you don't die.

Together they stack multiplicatively for extreme mobility, letting you reposition rapidly after each ability cast in ARAM's constant teamfights. Speed Demon + Magic Missile: Magic Missile fires 3 Firecrackers at enemies when you damage them with abilities, triggering Speed Demon's movement speed on each hit. The permanent speed from Homeguard makes the temporary burst from Speed Demon largely redundant and unnecessary. Avoid Speed Demon + Shadow Runner: Shadow Runner grants 300 bonus movement speed for 2 seconds after dashing, blinking, or exiting stealth, while Speed Demon grants 200 bonus movement speed decaying over 0.75 seconds on ability damage. These movement speed effects overlap significantly, offering diminishing returns compared to diversifying your augment choices.
