Shrink Engine Common Mistakes

Mini-Engine: Don't trade half your stacks for an assist: This is the most fatal mistake. An assist gives only 1 stack, but dying drops 65% of your stacks. Dying at 10 stacks leaves only 3, equivalent to 7 assists wasted. Always remember 'living > everything'. Don't ignore the defensive value of size reduction: Many players only focus on ability haste and MS but forget shrinking helps dodge non-targeted skills like Malphite ult, Azir Q, or Jinx R. This is Mini-Engine's strongest hidden survival tool. Don't build pure tank items: Mini-Engine provides ability haste and MS pure tank items leave you with no damage. You can't stack assists if you can't kill enemies. Don't force stacking in losing lanes: In losing lanes, teammates are defending towers rushing out for assists gets you picked off, causing a恶性循环 (vicious cycle). Defend towers and waveclear, then look for opportunities when your team groups. Don't get cocky at 20 stacks: 20 stacks is the size reduction cap, but ability haste and MS can still stack. Many players feel invincible at 20 stacks and start overextending, losing all stacks and turning a big advantage into a disadvantage. Watch enemy large AoE: Despite being small, you can't dodge large AoE like Malphite ult, Kennen R, or Morgana R. In teamfights, stay on the sides and don't initiate. More stacks aren't always better: At 30+ stacks, ability haste starts to overflow, and stacking further provides diminishing returns. Focus on pushing towers and taking objectives to end the game instead of continuing to kill for stacks.
